We have been at Glastonbury Festival spreading the word about the true cost of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
After many years of faithful service, the Drop the Debt bus has finally given up the ghost, so this year we decamped to the Green Futures area. We asked people to sign our PPPs petition telling the UK’s Director at the International Monetary Fund, Steve Field, to count the cost of PPPs when judging if a country has a debt crisis. This is an essential step to stop debt from trapping people in poverty around the world.
The mud didn’t stop people coming to the stall to learn about PPPs and what they could do to take action. Here are some photo highlights from the festival…
