Complaints Policy

Tackling Misconduct and Abuse

Debt Justice is committed to the upholding the highest standards of conduct, ethics and integrity in our operations, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to serious misconduct by our staff, Trustees and contractors, and are keen to hear from anyone who has concerns that our high standards are not being upheld.

Information on how to report concerns and complaints in relation to our work is included below.

Safeguarding

We are committed to providing a safe and trusted environment for everyone who comes into direct contact with our work. If you would like to report a concern about safeguarding please email safeguarding@debtjustice.org.uk.

We will acknowledge and provide an initial response to your feedback within 10 working days of receiving it. We will aim to provide you with a full response within 6 weeks, but if a more in-depth investigation is required it may take longer.

Fundraising

We are committed to high standards of fundraising, and are keen to hear from anyone who feels we have fallen short of these standards. If you would like to lodge a complaint in relation to fundraising, please email fundraising@debtjustice.org.uk.

We will acknowledge and provide an initial response to your feedback within 10 working days of receiving it. We expect to be able to resolve most complaints within that timeframe, but if we need to conduct a more in-depth investigation, we aim to provide you with a full response within 6 weeks.

Fraud, Corruption & Other Serious Misconduct

Any concerns about fraud, corruption or other forms of serious misconduct by staff, Trustees or contractors of Debt Justice should be reported by emailing misconduct@debtjustice.org.uk.
