Responding to the announcement that Debt Relief Order fees are being abolished in today’s budget, Heidi Chow, Executive Director of Debt Justice said:
“Charging fees to people in debt crisis is utterly counterproductive, so this is an important first step that will benefit tens of thousands of people a year.”
“Now we need to see other barriers to accessing debt relief removed so that the millions of people weighed down by unmanageable debt have a clear route to becoming debt free.”
